How PatchPilot works in 30 seconds
This is a sample post used to demonstrate PatchPilot’s inline editing. Try clicking the Enable PatchPilot button in the toolbar at the bottom of the page, then hover any element you want to change.
The flow
- Hover an element. PatchPilot draws a purple outline around it.
- Click. The inspector slides in from the right.
- Pick a tab (Content / Style / Layout / Effects / Responsive / Actions / Advanced / History).
- Edit. The page updates live.
- Click Publish. Your change is saved as a reversible patch.
Try editing this paragraph
Hover this paragraph and change its colour, font size, or text content. Add a soft shadow effect. Hide it entirely. Whatever you do is reversible from the Patches admin list, and the hourly cron resets the demo so other testers always start from a clean slate.
“The point of PatchPilot is that you stop being afraid of small visual changes.”
Want to undo everything?
Open the Patches screen, select all, and Bulk Trash. Or hit Safe mode from the dashboard for a one-button kill switch.
